Welcome to my “specialty” barn owned by the Schmitt Family!
My name is Brooke Schmitt and I am honored to be married to my husband Bill Schmitt. We are the perfect pair to make sure your horse
is in the best care.
My husband is a 4th generation farmer who grew up managing land in all sorts of terrain.
To go along with this, Billy has spent the last 10 years in the special operations unit of the FDNY.
Since I was 8 years old, there has been nothing I’ve loved more than horses.
This became my passion, my release and my obsession.
From there I had over 30 years of never ending horse education. I rescued my first OTTB at the age of 21 and he taught me so much.
In between horses I never stopped at one spot. I boarded at all types of facilities from backyard styles to show barns.
I loved the personalized nature of the backyard barns and the amenities of the high end show barns. So I decided to make this barn
a combination of just that! We are not a fancy blue ribbon barn. But what I offer is the blue ribbon in care and relaxation in truly enjoying
your horse. They are cared for as if they are mine. I stay small in such a big facility so I can mange them all beautifully. I love my JOB!

Just a little about myself, I’ve devoted over a decade of my life to intense animal rescue.
As a veterinary technician for small animals, a mother, and now Barn Manager at Schmitt’s family farm...
...I’ve learned to value the importance of detailed, personalized and attentive care.
We take pride in providing the most friendly, personal and personalized experience for you and your four legged companion.
And that’s why we’re choosing to work with a select few to be under our care.

If you want a quiet low key barn where any discipline is welcome we may be for you. We love natural horsemanship and liberty
training and offer annual clinics in our indoor. No lesson program or schooly horses and very private setting.
